His childhood took place during an important period in his father’s acting career. Timothy Olyphant gained recognition through film roles and later became widely known for television performances in Deadwood and Justified.
Despite this Hollywood connection, Henry did not become a regular public figure during childhood. His parents shared relatively little information about their children’s private lives.
One documented childhood interest was basketball. Timothy Olyphant discussed attending Los Angeles Clippers games with his son, offering a glimpse into their relationship.
However, Henry’s exact birthplace, childhood address, and early school experiences have not been established through sufficiently reliable public evidence.

Father: Timothy Olyphant
Timothy Olyphant is an American actor best known for playing Seth Bullock in Deadwood and Raylan Givens in Justified. His career also includes numerous film and television appearances.
Henry’s mother, Alexis Knief, has maintained a much lower public profile than her husband. Timothy and Alexis married in 1991 and subsequently raised three children together.
Their children are Grace, Henry, and Vivian Olyphant. Each has attracted different levels of public attention because of individual interests and family connections.

How Old Is Henry Olyphant?
Henry Olyphant was born in 2001, making him either 24 or 25 years old as of October 12, 2026.

Some celebrity biography websites publish detailed personal information without explaining where it originated. Such claims should not replace independently verified reporting.
Henry Olyphant’s Education
Henry’s education has attracted interest because of his involvement in visual art.
Recent reporting about his artistic work identifies Parsons School of Design and describes a Bachelor of Fine Arts completed in 2023. The same reporting connects him with Brentwood Art Center, where he reportedly attended classes as a younger student before returning as an instructor.
These educational details are more specific than those provided in mainstream family profiles. They should be checked against the original institution’s records before publication as independently confirmed qualifications.
His earlier schools, academic performance, and complete educational history have not been reliably documented in major public profiles.
Brentwood Art Center’s own faculty biography confirms that Hank Olyphant received a BFA in Printmaking from Parsons School of Design in 2023. It also states that he first attended the art center in 2013 and later returned as a teacher. This provides direct institutional confirmation of his artistic education.

Henry Olyphant has developed a career in visual art and education rather than following his father into acting.
His documented professional background includes printmaking, illustration, ceramics, and mixed-media instruction. These fields require different creative techniques, from working with clay to producing artwork through printmaking processes.
Early artistic development
Henry’s connection with Brentwood Art Center began in 2013, when he attended classes as a young student.
Later, he pursued formal artistic education at Parsons School of Design. He completed his BFA in 2023 and returned to Brentwood Art Center as an instructor.

His teaching activities include ceramics and mixed-media classes. In particular, the center has listed him as an instructor for wheel-throwing courses designed for children and teenagers.
His faculty profile also describes his interest in artwork focused on the human form and encouraging students to express themselves through art.
Contribution to his sister’s music
Henry has also contributed artwork to a family creative project.
His younger sister Vivian released her debut song, Lil More Reason, in 2023. Entertainment reporting identifies Henry, also known as Hank, as the person who created the song’s cover artwork.
Although this does not establish a large commercial design portfolio, it provides another documented example of his artistic involvement.
Henry Olyphant’s Relationship With His Father
Henry and Timothy Olyphant have a publicly documented shared interest in basketball.
In a 2014 Sports Illustrated interview, Timothy recalled taking his son to Clippers games. When Henry was younger, he sometimes paid more attention to the cotton-candy vendor than the game.
As Henry grew older, Timothy said their visits became more enjoyable because they could discuss basketball together.
The story offers a personal glimpse into their father-son relationship without requiring speculation about private family matters.
